1. Different materials:

How the Horizontal Screw Conveyor works
The working principle of the Horizontal Screw Conveyor is to use the gravity of the material and the friction generated with the tank wall, and the driving force of the screw to the material to realize material transportation.
The movement of the material in the intermediate bearing depends on the thrust of the material that continuously enters the pipe groove. Therefore, the transportation of materials in the conveyor is completely a sliding movement.
In order to make the screw shaft in a more favorable tension state, the driving device and the discharge port are generally placed on the same end of the conveyor, and the feed port is placed near the tail of the other end as much as possible.

According to the different materials to be transported, the surface of the blade has solid surface, belt surface, blade surface and other types. Structure of Horizontal Screw Conveyor
The horizontal screw conveyor is mainly composed of a driving device, a head assembly, a casing, a shaftless screw, a trough lining, a feeding port, a discharging port, a cover (when necessary), and a base.
1. Driving device: Cycloidal pinwheel reducer or shaft-mounted hard-tooth surface gear reducer is used. In the design, the driving device should be set at the end of the discharge port as much as possible, so that the screw body is in a tension state during operation.
2. The head is equipped with a thrust bearing, which can bear the axial force generated when conveying materials.
3. Chassis: The chassis is U-shaped or O-shaped, with a rain-proof cover on the upper part, and the material is stainless steel or carbon steel or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
4. Spiral body: It is divided into two types with shaft and without shaft, and the material is stainless steel or carbon steel.
5. Tank lining board: the material is wear-resistant plastic plate or rubber plate or cast stone plate, etc.
