Paddle screw conveyors can transport raw materials to or from the processing areas located at different levels of the facility. These conveyors can transport materials horizontally or can be inclined at different angles. The paddle conveyor is used for mixing dry and dry or dry and liquid. It is especially suitable for ointment or high viscosity materials, such as ceramic powder, stone paint, metal powder, etc.
Types of Paddle Screw Conveyor
Single paddle screw conveyor: It is a continuous equipment conveying without flexible traction. It uses a rotating screw to move the conveyed materials along the fixed casing to convey the equipment. It is mainly used for conveying small granular, powdery and small block materials. It is not suitable for conveying materials that are easily deteriorated, viscous and easy to agglomerate and have a large water content.
Double paddle conveyor: The two screw shafts are rotated in opposite directions to avoid material blocking. Double paddle conveyor has the functions of mixing and stirring, and the conveying capacity is twice as high as that of the single-axis paddleconveyor. It is used to handle non-homogeneous materials (wood chips, paper etc.), materials from the flour processing industry (bran, flour, etc.) and bridging materials (sawdust, soybeans, etc.).
Shaftless Paddle Screw Conveyor: The Paddle Screw Conveyor without a central shaft design can better handle thick, clogged or tangled fabrics, strips, such as sludge and garbage.

Structure of Paddle Screw Conveyor
Paddle screw conveyor is mainly composed of driving device, head assembly, casing, screw body, tank lining plate, feed port, discharge port, cover (if necessary), base and so on.
1. Driving device: Cycloidal pinwheel reducer or shaft-mounted hard-tooth surface gear reducer is used. In the design, the driving device should be set at the end of the discharge port as much as possible, so that the screw body is in a tension state during operation.
2. The head is equipped with a thrust bearing, which can bear the axial force generated when conveying materials.
3. Propeller: Divided into fixed propeller and adjustable propeller, the fixed propeller is welded directly to the center tube of the threaded rod, the production cost is low, but since the propeller is fixed and not adjustable, you cannot "fine-tune" your mixing process . The controllable propeller is welded to a bolt that goes through the center tube and tightened with a lock nut on the other side and can be individually rotated to any desired angle to "fine tune" your mixing process, of course it will cost more to manufacture than a fixed propeller higher cost.
4. Chassis: It is a "U"-shaped groove, with a rain-proof cover on the upper part, and the material is stainless steel or carbon steel or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
5. Tank body lining board: It is made of high-strength engineering plastic polymer polyethylene, which has weak adsorption, non-stick material, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
6. Inlet and outlet: There are two kinds of square and round. Generally, the form of inlet and outlet is determined by the user.
Fixed Paddle Screw Conveyor: The production cost is low and the purchase cost is less, but the fixed design cannot adjust the angle of the paddle according to the demand, and the damaged paddle cannot be directly replaced.
Adjustable Paddle Screw Conveyor: It can be rotated at any angle to adjust the conveying and mixing effect, and the production cost is high, but the damaged blades can be easily replaced.
